Our killer piece for this Autumn / Winter has been the Willow Maxi Dress. We sought to create a Modern Classic style that transcends seasons: A dress that exudes timeless elegance, resonates glamour and makes you feel like a goddess.
The inspiration for the Autumn/Winter Collection was drawn from the mythical world of Ancient Greece. Taking the lines and folds from the garments in classical sculpture as our starting point, we aimed to capture the ageless grace of the statuesque shape. The full skirt with godet inserts allows the fabric to hang in natural lines, gesturing to those sculptural contours. Working from the vibrant tones of ancient precious stones, we felt nothing could match emerald green in Silk Crepe de Chine in richness of texture and colour.
For Modern-edged Glamour, where better to call for inspiration than the golden age of Hollywood. With a keyhole back, flutter sleeves and fabric rose corsage, our Grecian Goddess meets Siren of The Silver Screen. Jean Harlow’s iconic style and status is echoed in the mauve Silk Satin version of the Willow Maxi.
